092: I have a quarantine Inbox; why is some [spam-high]-tagged email delivered instead of quarantined?


If you have established and enabled a quarantine Inbox ( account, spam email that is specifically addressed to you will be held in that quarantine Inbox. It will not be delivered to your regular Inbox unless you instruct the spam filter system to deliver it.

However, email that is addressed to a mailing list, or does not appear to specifically be addressed to you, may be delivered to your Inbox identified with a [spam-high] tag at the beginning of the subject line. You can use the filtering option in your email software to filter this email into a special spam folder, or directly into your trash if you are certain that you don’t want any email with a [spam-high]-tagged subject line.
